Hello Wes.I tried this again and took pictures. I also wanted to mention to check that the tool you are using does not have a flat on the end instead of being pointed.Ī lot of angled cutters have a small flat at the end and I think for the minimal depth you want to achieve a pointed tool will work better. This method is very time intensive but by using it you can end up with some single line letters that resemble the font you choose instead of searching through available single line fonts for something that are usable. Simply redraw those letters so they have a vector along the center-line, and then delete the original vectors around the perimeter. This is basically only feasible when you have a small set of letters that you need to use from the font, therefore editing only those letters is not too overwhelming a task. ![]() I just wanted to add that since you mentioned you had no problems with True Type fonts another method(last resort) might be to take the letters you need to use from the font and then edit them to end up with the single line letters that you need for your project. ![]()
